DIRECTIONAL SIGNS. KAILI CITY. CHINA
In May 2019 I was able to do a short tour of central China. Taking buses, fast trains and airliners I was able to visit numerous cities, ancient sites and the Chinese countryside. The trip was too short, too confusing and too chaotic... but I'd do it again at a moments notice. This is a very busy country. Busy at work and busy becoming a very modern nation. There are traces everywhere of the ancient past, the turbulent Maoist era and plenty of examples of where China is headed both good and bad. Hopefully these images give will give you a taste of a nation in transition.
